C'mon Bill, you say "If I ever had a child that had diabetes they wouldnt even know what an insulin shot was"..

As good as pumps are every type one needs the injection boot camp before using a pump. Diabetes first, Pump second.-- When able to learn, all types ones need to know how to give themselves injections and control diabetes with injections.
