My name is Chris, I was diagnosed a type 1 diabetic June 6, 1990 I was 9 years old. I am on the MiniMed 522 insulin pump. I have lived in CA, NY, and now Rockford, IL. I have a beautiful daughter named Rahab and a handsome husband named Christian Bobby who are involved greatly with my diabets management.

Oh my dear Chris how is Rahab dealing with her dx? Just remember it takes time to accept a dx of T1D at any age. Best wishes.

Does anyone find it hard to go to sleep at night after dealing with a low even when you may be sleepy?
