About Me
27 yrs old been a type one since 12 yrs old and pumping using medtronic 722 pump and CGMS it is great to have tight control except those days we all just can't get it right. lol. I am a paramedic and firefighter and just love music and soccer and church and well more then not addicted to insulin. I started a blog since I have a habit of dealing with stuff when I put it in ink so stop by and say whats up http://soccercollegeworkanddiabetes.blogspot.com/ Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Thank you med464rescue. Do you like my pic? I made it myself lol not to shabby eh? I am new here so if I do this wrong please let me know and I will change it around.
Yes I did - BIgBlueTest results Before 152 After #bgnow 127- Used my Mom's clothing rack (exercycle) with one leg for 14 min as I have a injury on my right foot and have to keep all pressure off of it for now.
Thank you - I'm finishing my BSN, then plan on getting my PA. How much longer do you have?
Thanks, just knowing that I have someone to talk to helps out a lot. At least John got his wish before he died. He told me before I went in for my brain surgery that he wanted to marry me, the love of his life. His wish was for us to get married before anything happened to either one of us. So that is why we got married befor our Dec. date he wanted to do it before my surgery. So much for happy ever after.
Thanks. He was a great guy. He was my heart and he is missed.
Thank you. Is that a med alert tatoo on your wrist? What a cool idea.
Thank you for the welcome to the site. LOVE YOUR INK!! I have always wanted a tattoo but didn't think it was a good idea for diabetics. How did you get your doc to agree?!?
Thanks for the add
Yeah it is a rough time in your life to develop type 1.. But we all just gotta hold our heads hight i guess!
Hi
Thanks for the welcome. I love my pump and CGMS also, but the dealing with everything else not so much but what can I do it is part of my life. And if I am going to live my life (and I am) I am not going to let someting like diabetes get in the way.
Thanks for the encouragment. I could use it right now. That's my goal, for her to be able to make good choices when she is on her own. We have time, but good habits start now.
