My name is John, I am a type 1 diabetic and have been one for 10 years. I am on the Omnipod and have a Dexcom Seven Plus continuous glucose monitor. On youtube, I am ForeverGermany, but I do not post videos yet. I am a fan of both Bill and Caleb. I look foward to being yet another HappyDiabetic!

Hi John! I'm so tickled to hear you are a fan of Caleb's! We are great fans of Bill and Suzanne as well. Hmm, does Caleb love the DexCom 7? I'm not so sure about that. I don't think he sees the benefit of it directly. I see the benefit - we are able to catch highs and lows better. He does a few less fingersticks on some days, but then more on other days. Things are a little more intense, but I feel more in control - there are less surprises. Overall it's a great benefit and it helps greatly particularly at school. I just don't know that Caleb can really appreciate the benefits because they are subtle. But if asked, he will say yes - just being a trooper. I'm glad OmniPod and DexCom are working for you! They really are fabulous tools!!
