About Me
Hello everyone! Really nice to see the new website! Been a big fan of Bill and his crazy video's on You Tube for some time now! I am a newby pumper, recently started on the Medtronic Veo which as just been introduced in England in June 2009. A great pump, Im still getting to grips with it. It does a few more things than the minimed/paradigm which are quite fantastic (although I am yet to find a pump that has a 'turbo' function for pasta or pizza, or an auto-pilot for when I'd like a drink or three...) but its all going good so far. Its interesting how things differ between our countries...also another reason why I like Bills videos, his open speak about pumps and diabetes has really helped my attitude and approach to this new thing in my life. So other stats, Im 32, female, living and working in London blah, blah, blah.......and Ive had the beetus for about 3 or 4 years Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Great question about using the dual wave and square wave. Pizza is a hard one for me, I tend to stay away from pizza but when I eat, I know I have to watch my sugars close. I will start a forum post for about the different bolus functions and how people use them.
Hi Sugarbum (love the name). I am a soon-to-be-newby pumper living in Germany. I wound up here by watching Bill's crazy yet informative Youtube videos. I too find the differences between countries interesting. Looking forward to hearing more about your new journey in life. Dene (Type 1 for 2.5 years.)
