About Me
16 years living with diabetes, recently concluded year #2 with Animas 2020, my first ever pump. Transplanted native New Yorker now residing in north central CT since 1996. Fast progression to insulin therapy, diet and exercise for brief 2 year period, then oral meds, then injection therapy. Due to what was then frequent airport travel, I grew tired of injecting in airport bathrooms and all other uncomfortable places which made pumping an easy choice for me. w0w you went on the pump for almost the exact same reason I did. I hated tacking out my pens and dial up and inject it for meals. NO WAY I would do it in the bath room that was just creepy after the first time .... no more bath room visits. This was bad because I would be done eating and wait till I got in car or till I got home to give myself my shot. Not smart I am aware but now that I have the pump I thought I had good control before NOW I am just amazed how wonderful a pump is. Again Welcome Michael ^_^ |
