About Me
I dont know the date I was diagnosed. it was 1970 and I was only 8 years old. I didnt realize that one day there would be this thing called the internet and I would be asked all the time when I was dx'd, lol. I know they told me I would have to take shots the rest of my life but at the age of 8 I couldnt see past the next week. But now here it is almost 40 years later and I think I am doing pretty good....no amputations and no blindness. Post a CommentOops!The words you entered did not match the given text. Welcome to the site. It is still in its beginning stages but is growing more and more each day. This is just a great site like TuD to talk and get to know people like Bill and Suzanne who made my day when I saw the site was re-launched. Haha don't feel bad that you don't know your dx'd for 2 reasons. #1 I had no idea that was for the longest time and #2 even then I still don't know ... (now the sad part ... I have only been diabetic for less then two years) Again welcome look forward to hearing from you soon. Michael ^_^ |
