I took a small trip to CT for the JDRF walk and decided to show everyone what I bring with me on a trip. We had a great time in CT meeting Bill (1 Happy Diabetic) and his wife Chrissi. Also had a great time at the walk!! We raised $767 towards JDRF!! So overall it was a great weekend.
In this VLOG I show what comes in The Solo Demo Kit. I go over The Solo and compare it to the Omnipod. I also have been tinkering around with an intro... If you like my VLOG's and would like to see more please rate, subscribe and comment!!!!!!! For more info on the Solo click here: http://www.solo4you.com
This is my second blog. I thought the title fit well because it really explains Diabetes. You have good times, bad times and clearly some ugly times. The main premise of this vlog was originally suppose to be to explain how to bolus and check your bg with the new Omnipod PDM. But that premise took a different spin when I checked my BG after dinner. If you enjoy this video please comment, rate and subscribe!!! Please let me know any suggestions! P.S. You may have noticed I shaved my head =0
Found this, thought I'd share. Although I am pretty sure this is just an idea the concept is pretty cool.
Competition for the Omnipod! I like the bolus function on the "pod" (whatever they call it)
This is my first video blog. I was inspired to start making these video blogs by Bill the 1happydiabetic. I hope they improve over time after I get use to doing them. I will hopefully stop saying UHM over time and be a little more exciting. Also, that is the same thing I was wearing in my profile picture... If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate and let me know. I am open to all kinds of suggestions.
This was taken from a news story in 1986 about an implantable insulin pump.
