I found the site via a Tweet from CureT1Diabetes, the video "Diabetes Fail." I loved it, and followed some links, and here I am. I've had Type 1 for 20 years now and use a pump. I've also got fun stuff like high blood pressure and a seizure disorder. But you know how it goes.
I'm looking forward to meeting some people here who get it!
hello everyone i'm 23 and have had type 1 diabetes for 5yrs and i'm due to start pumping for the first time in 7 days and am hoping to take control of my diabetes instead of it taking control of me this year and would love to wish everyone a happy new year
Hi all!!! I'm Kaila. I'm 21 and have type 1 for 15 years. So glad there is a site out there to get the word out and have a support group for fellow diabetics and their families. Wishing everyone good health and happiness.
This sight is a great idea. Anything i can do to get the word out let me know. Unfortunatly i know about two other type ones, and neither of them i talk to on a regular basis. This site will definatley help in that regard. However i would like to help the site out as much as it helps me, so please keep me in the loop. thankyou and remember, dont be a hectic diabetic, holla
Hello hello! I saw the Top Ten list and must say... I have strips and needles everywhere and I lick my finger everytime! Putting your hand in my bag/purse is on your own risk ;o)
I have watched your videos on-line, and just had to join. I had found it by typing in diabetic, and there was one of Bill's happy diabetic videos. Then I typed in CGMs and now, I am here.
Thanks for the invite.
Miss Maggie
Hi. I just saw your video online. I must not be normal as I have never left a strip laying around or not changed a needle. What is type 1.5 diabetes? I never heard of that.
I just saw one of your videos and had to join. It was hysterical and had to immediately throw away all the used test strips off my computer desk and change the lancet in my meter. Keep up the fantastic work and the wonderful sense of humor
Hi everyone! I was diagnosed with Type 1 a day before my 40th birtday, although my symptoms really showed up a couple of weeks before that. Weight loss started three months prior but thought it was stress due to losing job at the end of the year. I am happy to have found this site.
Hello to all I hope your all doing find ... I have to say ... I was kind of upset at one point but now I am taking my pills and I just use the Insuiln when I feel a lot of pain or need it lol and at night sometimes ...... Hi I'm Rachel. I'm 18 and I've been diabetic for 10 years. I've been pumping for 6 years. My first pump was a Deltec Cozmo, and I just switched to a Minimed yesterday. My family is full of diabetics. My mom, little sister and I all have Juvenile Diabetes. My grandma, and grandpa on both sides have type 2 diabetes. My little sister and I are both on Minimeds and my mom still uses injections. Both my sister and I are active in a Diabetic summer camp every year. She is still a camper and I am a Junior counselor. I'd love to make new friends here.
Great new website, well done Bill! I am a big fan and watch all your videos by You Tube across the waters here in London, as I know a few of my other friends with diabetes here do too. Big fans! Just started pumping too so really interested in years of experience at this game...keep smiling!
ohh I like this idea, thanks people who created this place, *cough* bill and suzanne *cough*

I was only four when I was Diagnosed so I don't know the feeling of why me at diagnosis. anywho I hope to get to know you all well.
How awesome is this site?! Thanks Bill for starting this up. I also just recently decided to enter the blogging world with a diabetes blog (NOT including video... that would be just scary). I decided I was feeling stalker-ish watching your videos and reading all sorts of type 1 blogs but not contributing anything, so I just started
www.addictedtoinsulin.blogspot.com
Please stop by and say hi sometime.
Again... THANKS BILL!!
