Okay, I've only used it for a few weeks but man! I really love the consistency of dosing and my BG's have never been so tight. i went from upper 200s to between 95 and 110 in two weeks. I feel so much better. I would recommend pump therapy to anyone who is dedicated to working hard to control this disease. I have the Minimed Revel 723 and it's a great little pump. Anyone else out there with an early success story? :D

Amen brotha.. LOL... Same forme.. I would become depressed if I found out I had to go back to shots. It's a beautiful thing. I also realized after getting on the Animas pump, that I am using sugnificantly less insulin, thenwhen I was on shots (which I really like). Also comfortable to sleep with too (once you get the tube things figured out).

I'm new to this site, I'm also new to diabetes I guess, I'm coming up on my one year anniversary soon, and my doctor left me to do some research and find out what I can so I can go on the pump in a few months. I've narrowed it down to Animas & Medtronic, any tips or suggestions that might help me decide?

I've been using the Medtronic 523 Paradigm Revel for two years now. Medtronic has excellent customer service, and all the reps are extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about their insulin pumps, and CGM. I love my pump, and would never think of going back to MDI. It’s much easier to use, and can provide much better control of BG value when used correctly.

Best of luck,

-Aaron

I love my pump too it is amazing but it is time coming that I am up for a new one and still debating between my old friend medtronic and switching to animias but if I switch then I will need to switch CGM's and that will add to the paperwork. so I am not sure
