Hello everyone. I would like to introducev my self. I am a newly diagonsed type two diabetic. I take oral medication along with insulin injections as a way to control my blood gluclose levels. I was polishing up on my injection techniques and came across the happy diabetic video on you tube. I just loved it so I wanted to be a part of this group. I am a very new diabetic only a month in my diagonsis. Its all so overwhelming right now. I'm beginning to develop my routine and trying to learn as much as possiable. I just wanted to say hello to all and I'm glad to be here. Lynnette77

You noted about developing your routine.  That really is one of the keys to being successful with diabetes.  It is the most challenging for me.  The more exact and organized your diabetes routine is, the more successful you will be with your diabetes for sure!

thank you for the warm welcome bill! Also thank you for the instructional videos you make:) I was polishing up on my injection technique and came across your video, I just loved it! I'm getting better at giving myself my shots as time goes on. I perfer to inject in my leg. That's easiest for me. I'm a newbe so getting the routine down is what I'm doing now! Its pretty overwhelming at times! Its great to have a forum like this where other diabetics can share with each other their expirences. I'm happy to be here!

Welcome Lynnette you will find great heaps of info on here about different aspects of living everyday with diabetes the great part is that everyone has a tip on how they have found a way to make it easier living with diabetes. just don't let the disease consume you instead take control and know that you are strong and that you can and will fight for your right to stay healthy!
