more and more people THINK i WANT to hear their stories I DONT but answer this After being off insulin for over a year because they no longer had diabetes, a friend of my husband is now in the hospital. The drs say his pancreas is dying,that he has alot od dead tissue there, my question, will this happen to me or just some people or what? YEAH you bet i am scared, i am on pills and insulin along with diet and exercise and my b/s still stays above 300 Please answer this has best you can, seems like things get worse not better. thanksl wlynn49@yahoo.com | |

This is a hard question to answer. But if I had BGs over the 300 for a regular period of time I would consult with my doctor about a more agressive approach to bring down my sugars. The higher my BGs the more likely I am damaging my heart and health. | |

I think Bill is right you need to get with your doc and get those sugars under control before you end up with coplications like heart disease or neropathy.
