Greetings, I am guessing this forums for Young Adults and Teens is a good way to introduced myself to everyone.
I am 23 years old, and was born and raise in Linz Austria. I was diagnosed as diabetic at 2 years old, with I am told a blood sugar of over 1500 ((American measurement)). No family historie of diabetes, so it was new to my family. I always seem to have problem with blood sugar controll over in my home country, so some family on USA, suggest that I come , so we did. To make a long story short, my diabetes ended up with controll, due to my USA part of family knowing about diabetes. I have since this time, started on insulin pump ((5 years)), been able to be schooled normally, and taken good grasp of what diabetes is. I do have trouble working ((nurse tech)) as far as being diabetic, and college schooling ((nursing)) for the same reason. I have constant lows at work, in what the nurses have to help keep eye on me - for I have passed out a time. But other than that, I am doing well. I find out about 1happydiabetic.com by youtube - and love it

So glad to have you post. And I am happy for your diabetes journey getting better.
I know for me, my blood sugar drops when I am nervous or in a stressfull situation. Like a work presentation or a demanding task. I always try to remember to check my BG before I enter to a situation like that, and eat some carbs to cover my expected drop in BG to come.
Best of luck my friend, thanks for joing and adding content to the site!
