I hope someone  can help me because my doctor doesnt want to answer the phone right now!!! Yesterday I woke up with a 59bg. After about 30 carbs i got up to around 70(which i should have been higher) and then 30 min later i went down again, 62. So i decided to eat dinner, i work nights so it was dinner time. Finally got up to 134 and stayed in the 100's through the night  at work. Ate my snack and was doing good. About 5am I checked and it was 65. So i took 4 glucose tabs and finished my shift. I got home around 8 and ta da I'm now at 45. SOOO FRUSTRATED!! Why am I so low these past two days?? I havent even taken my Lantus today cuz i dont wanna go lower!!?!?!  Anybody know whats going on???? I'll take any advice.

Michele,

I am no doctor... lol, but I did attend this Diabetes camp a few months ago and the Endo at the camp who is a Type one himself showed data explaining how frequent lows cause more lows.  From day to day.  I know for me, if I have some lows one day, I really try to watch myself the next day too.

Also not saying you drank alcohol, but alcohol hinders the liver to release glucose when you are low.  So you sometimes might need to treat a low with more carbs.

Just my experience, Hope it helps.
