This day has totally been wasted thanks to T1D!! Blah! I woke up this morning around 4am to a bg of 39!! I tried for about 2 hrs. to get it above 40 without having to come down from stacking!! Well I ended up having to go to the hospital. Its days like today that get cha down!!

Sorry to hear about that.  I was low today and I thought I should just do nothing.  Nothing happened though, but I have become really unaware of low sugars with the exception of the halos.

So far, i've been one of those people that wakes up at nights if my blood sugar is low.  I'm thankful for this because i've worried that by the time i'd wake up it would be like 15 or something.  I've heard that some people's blood sugars don't wake them.  Is this true?

I am lucky as well.  I feel my lows when I sleep.  They wake me up.  Thank God.

Yes it is true some people's blood sugars don't wake them. I know for me sometimes when my blood sugars are low low and I am sleep they do not wake me up>

I have had to deal with this as well thank goodness I have my CGMS and the sound does not wake me but it does wake me when it vibrates and also all the guys in the station when I am working at the fire dept they always think it is the call alarm but then they reliaze it is me. but sorry you had to deal with that 

The sound on my CGMS does not wake me it may wake my husband. If  he has to go to work early and I am still asleep he will just put my pump on vibrate for me and it will wake me if it need to. Thank God the it  has sound and vibrates.
