Arugh, today was another day for the ugly day Diabetic Bank for me.  I've been battling a cold for a few days which has left my numbers floating in the upper 180's to 200.  Frustrating to say the least, I feel like I am doing insulin every hour to make sure it goes down, but it doesn't get to where I want it to be.  Blah...  with my Dexcom going off every few hours at night.

I just got a new Dexcom 7 in the mail.  Yippee.... until today after wearing it for about 2 days the adhesive was already giving away like I had worn it for 7 days... then it Failed on me!  Not because ot the adhesive, but because of.... well.... who knows really.... at least I can say customer support at dexcom was nice and is going to send me a new one.  But I called on the weekend before it failed to discuss the adhesive issues and they don't have weekend support.

My diabetes doesn't have the weekends off, why does support when I bet there is an increase of issues.  Oh right, that's life... lol... I forgot for a second.  :-)

Ahhhh...  I love the Ulgy Day Forums... thanks for listening... I feel better already... I just wish my BGs would be nice to me tonight!

Hey Bill,

Sorry about the rough few days... Believe me buddy I feel ya!  I too had a ton of issues with my 7 sticking to me.  My biggest solution was 2 things.  I stopped wearing it on my stomach and moved to my leg, side of my butt and upper section of my butt, below the belt.  This helped sooooo much, I now keep them on much longer.  And the second thing that helped was Maestosol!!! This stuff is like crazy glue!

I hope you feel better soon and start seeing some good numbers!!!!
