This video has been my most helpful to viewers. In this video I explain how to do an insulin shot in your stomach. When I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 1988 it took me 45 minutes to do ONE shot. I was afraid of needles. 21 years worth of injections later, I have my technique down to seconds. This video has helped some diabetics get over the injection hurdle. To you, I am so proud of. I love to hear those messages!

JDRF has taken the first steps on that path, with the groundbreaking announcement of an innovative partnership with Animas Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company that is a leading pump manufacturer, to develop a first-generation artificial pancreas: an automated system to help people with type 1 diabetes better control their disease.
